On 8 August 2022, Thailand Foundation welcomed the Young ASEAN Leaders Policy Initiative – YALPI (YALPI 2023)’s Organizing Committee to discuss the common interest of connecting people across borders with goodwill and friendship. Hosted by Amb. Tharit Charungvat, the meeting was based on mutual understanding between both parties, and further cooperation was agreed upon.
The Young ASEAN Leaders Policy Initiative is an international forum that aims to create a youth network and solve ongoing social issues from the bottom-up aspect of the ASEAN younger generation by creating policy recommendations. Under the theme “Rethinking a Post-COVID-19 ASEAN: An Equitable and Resilient Socio-Economic Recovery,” YALPI 2023 gathers over 60 youth leaders in the region to form and shape policies to be presented to members of parliament.
Aiming to connect youths in ASEAN through goodwill and friendship, we are excited to be the official partner of YALPI this upcoming year!
